The company is at the forefront of an exciting upward trend in online marketing and reservations for the restaurant industry. Bookatable.com is our consumer website for online restaurant booking. The site was launched in 2009 but is already the largest restaurant booking site in Europe. As part of the marketing team you work with both brands on the Nordic market.

Job Purpose and Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Marketing Coordinator to join our team to take part in the execution of all elements of the marketing mix including CRM, direct marketing, copy-writing for internal and external communications, PR, Design and print management. The position will include development and implementation of creative marketing strategies that will create impact, support the brand and drive sales and online traffic; and support the customer acquisition and retention initiatives for Bookatable and Livebookings via CRM activities.

You will be working closely together with, and reporting to, the Head of Marketing Nordics towards formulating localised marketing plans, based on central marketing strategy, and focus on executing marketing tactics within the Nordics, focussing primarily on Sweden.

Key responsibilities
As the new Marketing Coordinator Nordics, you need to manage the execution and optimisation of all marketing activities (on- and offline), ensuring best practice is consistently applied and results are improving. You should have a good level of knowledge on the latest marketing techniques and regulations as feel comfortable managing projects from conception through to delivery. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Email newsletter production (copywriting, editing and proofing. Manage distribution. Reporting. )
Direct marketing (work with local team to create and execute campaigns in order to generate new sales leads, upsell opportunities)
Sales leads (process and allocate incoming sales leads)
Translations (organise localisation of products and services into Nordic languagues.)
Social media(contribute to social media and blog)
Consumer reviews (manage reviews and translations for the Bookatable site)
Baseline, benchmark, monitor progressand report back regularly on performance of all activities
Websites(update all Nordic websites)
Sales collateral(producing marketing materials across the Nordics)

Required skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have the following essential skills:

Minimum two year experience within the marketing field
Be highly motivated and excited about working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company
Be interested in, and preferably able to demonstrate knowledge, of offline advertising, social media, CRM, PR and partnerships
Take responsibility to ensure successful results meet or exceed expectations
Possess excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Swedish)
Good project management skills and ability to work unsupervised
excellent translation skills (English-Swedish) and good copywriting/proofing skills
Strong analytical mind set
An understanding of working with people of different nationalities and cultures

The ideal candidate will have the following desired skills:

Have a basic understanding of email marketing and CRM
Experience in coordinating events marketing and public relations
Knowledge of the design and print process
An understanding of the importance of reporting and CRM
Be able to build relationships with different people in cross-functional teams internally and manage external resource to effectively get things done
Experience managing campaigns

The candidate we’re looking for will likely have a relevant degree and 2-3 years marketing experience in a similar, face-paced environment. He/she will be a proactive self-starter and keen to learn. Personal skills should include a flexible and versatile personality with a can-do, enthusiastic attitude.
