Job overview
The role of the Livebookings marketing team is to support the sales activities of all personnel in all countries and drive targeted marketing activities to promote the Livebookings brand and reputation across Europe and the US. With this in mind, we are looking for a versatile Marketing Communicaitons Executive to join our team and contribute towards all elements of the marketing mix including events management, direct marketing, copy-writing for internal and external communications, PR, Social Media and Design agency relations and production of marketing materials.

It is an incredibly exciting time for Livebookings and the chosen candidate would play a large part in helping to shape the future of our international marketing activities.

Reporting to the Marketing Director based in the UK and working closely with the Country and Sales Managers in Sweden and across the Nordics, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with many types of personalities. The candidate will need to ensure central marketing strategies are rolled out locally and adhere to the overall marketing strategy. You will be a self starter, someone who can prioritise and work on many different projects at the same time.

Key responsibilities:

Events coordination and administration
• Implementation, coordination and administration of a variety of events including: marketing workshops, Livebookings Academies, sales and networking sessions and trade shows
• Production and execution of events marketing plans
• Production of event marketing collateral
• Copy writing and management of internal and external communications
• Liaison with sales teams, PR and design agencies on all aspects of events

Brand management
• Controlling Livebookings branding and marketing materials produced across the Nordics
• Assisting in producing marketing materials and translating centrally prepared collateral
• Monitoring use of Livebookings collateral

Direct marketing
• Drive incoming sales leads through a variety of direct marketing campaigns, encompassing a variety of marketing media
• Coordination and execution of direct marketing plans
• Copy writing and proofing of direct marketing pieces
• Liaison with PR and design agency on creative briefing and requirements
• Ensuring spend is within campaign budget

PR and media relations
• Regular liaison with PR agency on press releases and general brand building opportunities
• Take centrally prepared press releases and localise them for the relevant market
• Proofing and editing press releases
• Monitoring of online reputation and search engine presence
• Liaison with Livebookings Country Managers to identify news story opportunities across markets

External Communications

Coordinate monthly email newsletter to restaurants:
• Liaison with Country Managers on topics for inclusion
• Copy writing, editing and proofing of newsletters
• Liaison with internal web design team to create newsletters
• Manage and monitor distribution through email marketing tools

Social Media
• To engage in social media and be the local representative on Twitter & Xing
• Monitor Livebookings’ online reputation
• Engage with key influencers and ensure Livebookings brand is maintained

Website
• Update local websites with relevant news and events
• Ensure the website is on brand and message
• Drive leads from the website
• Update and manage Google Adwords

Marketing administration and general tasks
Ongoing daily activities including:
• Print management
• Translating, editing and proofing all communications including sales materials
• Ordering promotional merchandise
• Design and production of marketing materials

Required skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum two years marketing experience
• Excellent copy writing and proofing skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Experience in coordinating events marketing
• Knowledge of the design and print process
• An understanding of working with people of different nationalities and cultures
• Some experience from the hospitality industry (desirable)
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in public relations is preferred

Required skills/education:
• Fully computer literate (essential)
• Fluent written English (essential)
• Excellent translation skills (English to Swedish)
